Obsidian Polaris LLC operates this site. The site is informational. It has no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, and no store. This policy explains the small amount of personal information that reaches us and what we do with it.
What we collect
Two things, and nothing else. First, the messages you send us: if you write to contact@obsidianpolaris.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. Second, technical logs: this site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which records standard server logs for each request, including the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser type, and the referring page.
Why we use it
We use messages to answer you and to keep a record of our correspondence. We use technical logs to keep the site available, to fix errors, and to protect it against abuse.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Nothing here follows you across other sites. If we ever add privacy-friendly audience measurement, we will say so on this page first.
How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful to our relationship with you, and for as long as the law requires. Technical logs are kept by our host under its own retention schedule, which is short by design.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled by the providers that host this site and carry our email, acting on our instructions, and it may be disclosed to authorities when the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to contact@obsidianpolaris.com and we will answer.
